Each year the LMU Munich awards the Theodor Hänsch PhD Prize to the best phd thesis from the physics department. This year Alex Impertro won the award for his dissertation „Quantum Gas Microscopy of Interacting Quantum Matter with Artificial Gauge Fields.“ This is a great honour and very much deserved.
