Our work on dual-species Rydberg arrays has been published in Nature Physics! Congratulations to the whole team! In the work we show the first Rydberg interactions between two atomic in an atomic array. There are multiple interaction regimes that can accessed and we demonstrate a strongly enhanced dual-species interaction via a Förster resonance. Further, we use the interaction to demonstrate a two-qubit gate and do quantum non-demolition measurements useing one atomic species as an auxiliary.
We are very excited that our work has already inspired multiple theory proposals. If you want to learn more, check out our article as well as this very nice newstory on phys.org.
